The first two days of testing for Team Grillini ended today in Spain.
This time Jerez de la Frontera has not offered the best days to test the bikes for the first time. The rain, in fact, accompanied the two days of testing which however were successfully concluded. Badovini was confirmed as one of the fastest riders of the championship with a 1:55:00 as his fastest lap, while Jezek has registered a 1:56:03. Excellent first impressions for the bike and the team that has worked well to allow the riders to make the most of these first two days of testing.
Andrea Grillini, Team Manager commented: “I am satisfied with this first test. I got confirmation that we start from a good base and that we can really do well this year.”
Now again all back to work to be at best for the first round of the WSBK season that will be held as always in Phillip Island, Australia.
Ondřej Ježek: “I am really impressed from Superbike. I was using the 2015 version of bike but I enjoyed it anyway. Even we tested only in wet conditions, I could understand the Superbike style with a lot of electronics and also with the lap time I’m very happy. I did some laps also on the 2016 bike which I will use next year and I already can’t wait the next test in January!”
